Hello Stupideers,

Anyhow, back to business... Would anyone like some cash? 10:10 has got together with the Guardian and The Funding Network (TFN) to search out brilliant carbon-busting projects and then whip round pots of cash for them. 

The big event is called Pitch, Pledge, Party (see invite attached) and it's happening on 10th October or 10/10 (of course). This is the plan: 100-or-so committed supporters will gather at the Guardian offices in London. Some bigwigs will speak. Three carefully-selected projects will pitch their ideas. After hearing all the presentations, said supporters will, should they feel so moved, pledge cash. Then all concerned will party with abandon. 

If you have a great 10:10-related project you'd like to pitch, you can apply to be one of the chosen three here.

The bargain cost of £10.10 includes drinks and minor food, as well as free inspiration and all-inclusive mingling. The minimum donation on the night is £100 and we're hoping to raise between £3,000 and £5,000 per project. From TFN's ten years of experience raising money for social action projects, this is how much is needed to turn a great idea into reality.
