Electricity from Stoves

We now have interest about TEC units shown by several NGOs including one that wants to help Mongolian herders - ideal as they have to have heating for much of the time!

As you will know, one ambition is to have local NGOs making or at least assembling units whether they be solar, wick or TECs.

One new possibility with TECs is to make very cheap, if rather fragile, TEC units from aluminium foil dishes.
They could be floated on top of vessels used for producing sterilised water.
When taken off the stove and the vessel insulated, there would still be electricity for some while longer.

The total parts cost for powering say one torch bulb would be around $5!  For 4 LEDs about $8!
It seems worth exploring and I'm always hoping people will come up with ideas. Any feedback this time?
