Dear All,
For the last few weeks I have been working hard on developing TEC units and have now shown they are viable for generating some electricity.
A simple assembly around a $3 module will power a small bulb or fan with candle power!
With more TEC modules in series much more will be possible later using the waste heat of any stove.
A few people have shown interest in this development and I will shortly be sending them simple prototypes that adapt aluminium foil dishes. Later other ways of housing modules will be tried but foils cost just a few cents so will be ideal if they work well.
What I have not yet found are local firms in developing countries that might want to produce TEC units for sale - a very new market!
If anyone knows of a firm that welcomes new products do let me know!
