Testing TEC Units

Thanks to all those of you that have offered to test and make prototype TEC units! Quite a number!
Many contacts have a workshop but few gave the impression that they would be able to do testing and seemed to assume that the units needed no more improvements - far from it!
While it is quite possible to use TEC units to produce some electricity it is still not obvious what is best approach for NGOs or small firms.

My hope is to have TEC units that are not only cheap and easy to make locally but require a minimum of imports.
Obviously the TEC modules have to be imported and maybe LEDs but perhaps it will be possible, for example, to have pottery parts made locally instead of importing plastic tubing.

For all this I need the help of people who have some experience of development and can give feedback about any problems found in making, testing and using these TEC units.

When further progress has been made I hope to be able to freely offer plans of the units which will be available to anyone.
Items like TECs etc will be offered initially at cost price.

If you wish to have an idea at what stage we are now a pdf leaflet outlining the situation can be sent on request.
