Hello world! After two years of researching and fundraising, YouDev is hiring a co-founding team to launch a dynamic social enterprise and web start-up. YouDev exists to empower disadvantaged groups by making resources accessible and useful to everyone. In three months' time, we will be testing free web classifieds for social change, bringing together the people and resources you need to make the world a better place, whether it’s a small business or community project. The site would provide you with 1) funding and business opportunities; 2) referrals for clients, customers, suppliers, employees and partners; 3) equipment, facilities and workspace; and 4) advice from peers or specialists – all within a community you trust, based on peer reviews, testimonials and a shared social ethos. As a co-operative, YouDev is collectively owned and profitable to everyone.
We are hiring a:
1. Finance and Operations Manager
2. Business Development Manager
3. Marketing Manager
This will be a GREAT team. They will have superb credentials and be able to demonstrate real impact in their work. They will have experience starting up a business, working in a web firm, and in social change with vulnerable groups. MBA would be a plus.
