Bundelkhand Christian Social Services and Dadamac August 25, 2011
With reference to your email copied below (includuing your email address as you are looking for support). I wonder what you have in mind when you say "Partnership".
I am probably not able to help you in the way that you hope, but perhaps I can help you in some other way. (I imagine that you hope that I can support your work financially.)
I may be able to help you in raising the visibility of your work. After all, I must be fairly visible because you found me. If I help you to become visble in the same online spaces then perhaps others will find you. Maybe among those others will be someone who will help you, as you hope.
Let me explain how you can become more visible through Dadamac. (By the way, readers of my open letters, you are welcome to do this as well.)
Perhaps you have already seen how Dadamac has made the work of John Dada visible at Dadamac.net http://www.dadamac.net.
Well, I can offer you the opportunity to make you work visible in the same way - but you will have to put the information there yourself. There is no-one I can call on to do it for you.
The way to start is to go to http://www.dadamac.net/user/register and fill in your email address and a couple of other things. ( As I get to know you I will also write a profile for you - some notes about how we met and how well I know your work. This will link to what you write about yourself.) When you get an email back from us you will be able to add more details to your profile. You are welcome to email me for help if you run into any difficulties.
Once your profile is completed then you will be able to start sharing other information, and you can gradually build up an online portfolio of your work - like John Dada has done. Of course it will take time before you have such a big collection as John has.
You might also like to join me, and perhaps others, online sometimes. I am online on the First Thursday of the month on an etherpad. It is a chance to have a chat ( a typed chat) with me - and to meet anyone else who turns up. Here are the details of First Thursday September 2011 http://etherpad.openstewardship.net/September-First-Thursday. I think fifteen is the maximum number of people who can meet there (but usually we are a smaller group than fifteen so it has not been a problem yet).
I hope this may be of some help to you and I wish you well in the work you are doing - which people can read about below.

Dear Madam/Sir,
Greetings from "Bundelkhand Christian Social Services" Bina (M.P.)India.
Hope this letter of ours finds you in good health.
We are running an NGO . This is the only NGO which is working in this very remote backward and tribal area. We are working in the fields of maternal health, Child health, literacy, development programs, women empowerment, children and environment related programs for the sustainable development of these marginalized rural communities. Though we are a small organization but we are here with a vision and a mission.
Madhya Pradesh is one of the very backward and marginalized states of India.Nearly 40% of the population lives below the poverty line in this state. The situation of women and girls is very heart breaking and pathetic in this area.Every year many women die during pregnancy and child birth related causes. They are mal nourished and they do not have sufficient food, even for one time. The situation of "Dalit" (Extremely scheduled and downtrodden cl-ass)women are even worst and they are the most sufferer in the communities. They live in a very un-healthy and inhygienic condition, and they eat inhuman food(bread made out of grass) This is all just because they are poor.
Madhya Pradesh is always neglected and left behind by the funding agencies as they serve in other parts of India. Where as Madhya Pradesh is extremely backward state with marginalized people. We need your kind attention and consideration for Madhya Pradesh.
There is much to do for these poor and marginalized communities for their sustainable development. But due to insufficient funds we are unable to do much. We need your generous support to up lift and develop deprived and depressed communities.
Therefore,we request and strongly appeal to you that kindly consider our request for a partnership.
I am very much sure that you will come forward and stand with us and support us as we are committed to transform,to develop and bring changes in the precious lives of deprived communities.
Thanking you very much. Looking forward to hear a very favorable response from you.
With regards and best wishes.
Sincerely,
Emerson N.K. Singh.
