Dear Franz

I would love to see closer connections between Global Villages and Coalition of the Willing (COTW) in 2011. I see them as being very complementary and with hugely overlapping concerns. http://cotw.cc/wiki/Coalition_of_the_Willing

My impression of COTW is that they are a great group of people, with tremendous vision and skills, who are developing structures and tools that will enormously benefit groups/movements like gobal villages. CotW in turn will benefit from all that global villages has done, is doing and will do, especially is vision, experience and practical physical presence in various locations.

The Coalition started as a film ( http://coalitionofthewilling.org.uk/ )and has grown into a movement.

The early days of the movement have involved much work by the "tech heads" exploring effective ways of online collaboration and knowledge sharing (very relevant for your video-bridge work). Those of us who are less techie-inclined have been joining in less and lurking quite a bit. I for one have been greatly impressed by the work that the founding group and their increasing core team are achieving.

I see the time coming closer when it will become evident how the lurkers, and others not yet involved, can collaborate with the COTW core team in win-win ways - beneficial for us as individuals, as representatives of various groups, and simply as people who live on this planet.
