Hi Kellie

When you do start using twitter you may like to search for #CSR to find out what is being tweeted on Corporate Social Responsibility.

Please also start to follow me http://twitter.com/Pamela_McLean. If you do that then I will get an email to say you are following me. Then I can follow you back.

Gradually following people who are following people you know is one good way to find your way around and "get comfortable" on Twitter. (A knowledgeable friend sitting next to you is even better - but not essential.)

You may also like to search for #dadamac to see what we have been doing - it has tweets from me and other people connected with Dadamac

If you are a complete newbie to twitter then one of the easiest things to do is simply to find someone you know and gradually pick things up from them - by noticing what they do or by asking them directly - either via twitter or through the usual ways you communicate. (I'm still far from being a very good example of how to use twitter - but I am much more at home than I was before - and I am being helped a lot by the friends I follow.)

There are some notes about the Dadamac team helping each other with twitter (via skype and the old worknets chatroom) here on Dadamac's Posterous:
April 14th 2010 Third Thursday - April 15th - twitter in the chat room (again)
May 2nd 2010 Oops - belated April 8th twitter report
March 30th 2010 First Thursday - you were interested in the details - hope you can make it.
