Earlier this year I introduced the idea of Dadamac Learners. ("Are you a Dadamac Learner"  http://dadamac.posterous.com/are-you-a-dadamac-learner)

This is an update -

Update October 2011

Latest dadamac learner is Mark.J  - who joined Dadamac Meetups on October 5, 2011 saying:

"Co-founder of the School of Commoning, I am passionate to engage with collaborative forms of learning & living. When I read Pamela's question: are you a Dadamac learner?  it was a big YES! Great to be here :)"

I'm not actively promoting dadamac learners - but there's a handful of us who'd claim the title now - with some good-natured competitive debate about who was really the first to start learning with me. You won't see much about  "the dadamac learners'" on posterous - but I'm still exploring the ideas elsewhere. Evidence of that exploration appears online from time to time including:

My monthly "at home on the internet" sessions called "First Thursday" are also an expression of the Dadamacadamy vision. It's like an informal drop-in group  where people can meet and learn from each other online.

Dadamacadamy is a creative exploration of an idea - part flippant and part very serious. It permeates a lot of my thinking , including the work I'm starting to do in response to the increasing number of people who find themsleves surplus to requirements in the job market, and some related "Collaboration Communities" that I want to help create.
