Hi Elfneh (and readers of my open letters)

It is ages since we have caught up with each other.  I hope all is well with you.

The email below has a request to share a link with "any Ethiopian youth/adults you're in touch with" - so of course I thought of you.

I confess I don't see any relevance to any of the interests that I know you have - but perhaps it may interest someone you know (or, if the language the students are speaking is your language, it may be of incidental interest to you).

Anyhow - I am doing as requested, forwarding the link, and taking the opportunity to greet you.

Are you still in London? Let's try to catch up with each other soon.

Pam

Subject: [DIN] Google SketchUp screencast on YouTube (Amharic)
To: inclusion@forums.e-democracy.org

Hi Digital Inclusion Network community,

For those who might be interested, here is a Google SketchUp
screencast in Amharic created by some of my teen students, Robel and
Abenezer Abebe.

Thanks for sharing with any Ethiopian youth/adults you're in touch with.

           Phil

Encouraging feedback can be sent to the creators of this screencast at
robelabebe1@gmail.com

Thanks for also subscribing to them on YouTube. More screencasts
coming -- in both English and Amharic. These youth are very talented
at SketchUp. (Far better at SketchUp than I am.)

SketchUp is a free download from http://www.google.com/sketchup
Runs on Windows and Macintosh computers from about 2006 onwards. It's
possible to also run SketchUp on Linux using WINE -- althougth i've
never tried that myself.
