e-Gaia, the Future we Deserve and introducing people October 23, 2010

We met several years ago, you gave me a copy of your book of eGaia, Growing a peaceful sustainable Earth through communications (on condition that I made good use of it and didn't just use it as a door stop). It really shifted my thinking. (perhaps you remember that I discussed some bits of it with you online as I was reading it). I continue to share the book and the ideas with people.
On the theme of sharing your ideas widely I wonder if you would consider writing 500-800 words for Vinay Gupta's "The Future We Deserve" (The FWD)
Please note the deadline has been extended to Hallowe-en. The FWD is - I quote:

[edit] Inspirations and Guidance
- Pieces should be short - 500 words is ideal, 800 max. Pieces will be hypertext objects, with links to more information on every page. Pick one thing and make a little jewel box that describes it. Remember you can do more than one piece.
- We will group pieces into patterns together. The brief is loose to see what is out there, what great wonders people have to show. Order and sense will be made in the sequencing, and possibly additional pieces used to frame sets of pieces.

Thanks for letting me (and Wael) know that you have posted your contribution Working together - unleashing collective intelligence . I love what you have written
and I am so glad you have submitted it. It seems we are thinking alike - but my attempt to share the ideas is on a simpler level than yours and from a different perspective The Future We Got – Earth Date Zero Plus Twenty .
Maybe we can encourage others from Movement Camp to contribute. Chris Watkins has written A Knowing World - and was reminding some of us to contribute last week October 18, 2010 - [OK] Fwd: [Ap-com] The Future We Deserve: Collaborative book project.... How about collaborative rich project?

Wael - I do hope you will get your eco-village diagram about the Holistic Healing Green Economy http://twitpic.com/hkyuf in The FWD somehow. I know you don't want to do much writing in English. but Vinay loves diagrams - so although he has asked for 500 words I think he might well welcome your diagram instead - if you just write a few lines to relate it to the future - which should not be too hard as it is a diagram of an ideal future place. Alternatively, if you find that you would need more words than you want to write, we could do something together relating the diagram to Attachab eco-village and what John hopes to do there, in connection with the Knowledge Resource Centre (and other Dadamac collaborators I haven't written up yet). Here is an August update on Attachab. What do you think?
