Invitation: Climate Week Press Launch & Lunch with ecoConnect March 14, 2011

Kicking off Britain’s Climate Week (21-27 March) ecoConnect and The Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE) will be hosting the UK Launch of the Global Cleantech Cluster Association.
 
200 delegates, including members of the press, UK cleantech industry and investment community are expected to attend.

ecoConnect CIC has been appointed UK representative of US-based Global Cleantech Cluster Association (GCCA), a prestigious group of the top 20 cleantech clusters around the world and the IMechE is pleased to support this important initiative that will help make investment in innovative low carbon engineering a reality.

Stephen Tetlow - CEO of IMechE will join ecoConnect Chief Executive Robert Hokin, GCCA Chairman Ben Taube, co-Founder Shawn Lesser and others to formally launch the GCCA partnership and announce as the GCCA Later Stage Awards: a competition being judged by a high profile panel with combined funding power  of $3.5 Billion. ecoConnect will be fielding 10 UK nominees.
     
ecoConnect will also be announcing it’s campaign to establish London’s first cleantech business centre.

Following presentations and press Q & A, there will be an executive networking lunch in the Marble Hall of Institution of Mechanical Engineers.
