Is there anyone with a bit of spare time online who could download some online teaching resources, save to memory sticks and/or DVDs, and post to John Dada for the Knowledge Resource Centre (KRC) at Fanstuam? see “Khan Academy on a Stick”

John is trying to build up a library of resources at the KRC. This is connected with the rest of the work of Fantsuam Foundation -  a long-term grass-roots initiative, based on deep understanding of local needs.

The KRC is online thanks to Zittnet, but there are bandwidth limitations.

Please see (and share) John's request below and contact me if you are interested - pamela.mclean@dadamac.net :

Hi Pam/ Nikki

Kindly have a look at this site, and see how you can help us download some of the videos so that we can save them on our servers for offline training for youths in Bayanloco

We like to use the math and basic science learning available to our KRC users: http://www.khanacademy.org/ but it needs sufficient bandwidth to stream a YouTube video. But alternative sites are now available trying to make it available for communities that do not have enough bandwidth, like ours. I think this can be a really valuable resource for the KRC if we can get the modules saved on discs and made available for us in the KRC
