Knowledge Resource Centre–structuring knowledge and initiatives. November 11, 2010
We are experimenting with ways of structuring the different interactions and learning experiences that happen at the Knowledge Resource Centre (and through it). We recognise the following topic areas:
- Education and training–what people are learning and how they are learning it at the Knowledge Resource Centre (and through it).
- Health and welfare–with a focus on the services provided by Fantsuam Foundation.
- Digital technology–the technical side of things mainly to do with computers and the Internet (Zittnet and the Cisco Academy) but including phones, cameras, and other devices as appropriate.
- Appropriate technology–concerned with all aspects of appropriate technology but with an initial particular interest in power supply (Zittnet, Attachab and other interests).
- Permaculture–mainly, but not only, Attachab.
- Research projects.
- Postgraduate level education.
- Undergraduate and other education and training.
