The Climate and Development Knowledge Network invites you to the webcast of a major speech by the Secretary of State for International Development, Andrew Mitchell MP.

This key-note speech will set out the priorities of the Department for International Development in the run-up to the CoP-16 climate change conference in Cancun, Mexico at the end of November.

The speech will be followed by a response from Lord Stern, Chair of the Grantham Research Institute on Climate Change and the Environment at the LSE, and a Q&A session with live input from online observers in developing countries. The event will be moderated by Simon Maxwell, Executive Chair of CDKN.

We will be selecting a variety of questions on climate change and development issues from the online audience to ask the Secretary of State.

Please pass on this invitation to any interested colleagues.
