This passing comment caught my eye in one of Cicely's blogs - written after a few months with VSO at Fantsuam Foundation

During the workshop we discovered that our weakest programs were always those suggested by funders. The enduring services are those requested by the communities we work in – whether IT training, health services, HIV/AIDS counselling and support or support for children’s rights.
