As a university or a faculty member in an institution of higher education, you are invited to become a member of the new Transition University/College interest group on Global Transition Action, and be a part of the superlative movement on climate change, peak oil, and localization. The new Global Transition In Action group, University and College Transition Curricula, invites your distinguished university/college to be a part of faciliating the development of Transition subjects and values into the curricula of Universities and Colleges. Members of the group will work together to help each other to promote the study of transition-based resources for full time academic engagement. As a member of the group, you will be encouraged to provide links to your institution’s course descriptions covering Transition issues. You are welcome to introduce discussions, to use the group’s email list to interact with faculty in other universities who adopt Transition curricula, to form workgroups for curriculum development, etc. You may even want to form special consortia with faculty in other institutions.
