2011 Scholarship Application opens August 1, 2011

WAAW foundation is pleased to announce the next round of its scholarship
program, offering $500/year for need-based female African students admitted
to a University, College or institute of higher learning in Africa.
Scholarships are renewable annually, following proof of the student's
continued academic performance. We are accepting applications from August 1
through October 30th.

01Eligibility

Female students of African origin, living and studying in Africa.

1.           Female student of African Origin
2.           Currently enrolled in undergraduate degree program
3.           Studying in a university or college in Africa
4.           Able to demonstrate financial need
5.           Excellent Academic Record

02Application Process

Scholarship applications are reviewed by the WAAW foundation Scholarship
Committee, and awards are announced at the end of January for the
scholarship year. WAAW will start accepting applications from August 1,
2011. Applications submitted prior to this date will not be received or
reviewed. Application deadline is the 30th of October 2011. Instructions
